Baxter's trail network links to a series of parks, fountains and playgrounds located throughout the community. The Village Green is a grassy park that's perfect for kite flying. And 12-acre Allison Park has a playground, bandstand and a walk-through fountain. Eventually, the trail network will extend to a planned park at the Catawba River southwest of Baxter.
